Okay, so dear readers, I figure why not kick off Operation Oprah with a grand videocast to her explaining to her three simple reasons I should be on her show. I will send this to her producers monday morning, I know, I know it is a serious long shot…but you have to start somewhere right?

I think the main reason for you to go to that show is not because you are fun, or cute; but because you can be a role model for her Leadership Academy, which is something that truly inspires Oprah. You should make another presentation explaining your unique experiences abroad, and how you help chinese teens in the past as an example. That should convey a better message.

Dario, I absolutely agree with you. This is the first video in a series of videos and written letters. I agree that her leadership academy would be a great fit! Maybe I could start there? I could try contacting representatives at her camps and see if they need guest speakers or leaders?

Vanessa, I think you should present yourself in a very humble way, and ask her how you can contribute to her cause in building a dream with the academy. You both believe in the gift of education, and that should be the way to introduce yourself. May be you should produce a video that shows how you have impacted other’s lives. I think that’s the rare quality that she may be looking for in this selfish society. Good luck!
